When I think of Lena I think of a happy cheerful person who always seemed to have a laugh and a smile no matter what. She was a great Sister In Law and I'm so glad she was part of our family's liife. Lena may be gone but she is not forgotten....How can you ever forget someont who once was a bright light in the mainstream of our family life?

Whenever I knew I was going to see Lena, I made extra efforts to look nice. She always loved the pretty toenails, shoes, clothes, etc. and her delight in it was a joy for me. Kawai and I were sitting at Maui Tacos and saw you and your mom leaving the movie theater on her last outing. We were so happy to see her out and about. It was beautiful to see you two sharing such tenderness in her last days.
Julie, I remember once when Jim and I were at Liliuokalani Park, and we met you and your mom, out enjoying the day.
The two of you always seemed to have such a strong connection to life, to the beauty of nature, and to one another.
