Marilyn Margaret Ige, 77, of Pahoa passed away February 12 in Keaau. Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, she was a retired Nurse, Lecturer, and Teacher/Substitute Teacher with Kapiolani Medical Center/Molokai General Hospital, Hawaii Community College, and St. Joseph School/Preschool.
Survived by daughter, Shauna Ige (Gavin Ida) of Pahoa; step-daughter Joni (Christopher) Wood of Kaneohe; two step-sons Raymond Ige of Honolulu and Reagan (Melissa) Ige of Aiea. Brothers Thomas Rappel (Joan Williams) and Gerald Rappel of Montreal, Quebec, Canada; sister Donna (Edward) Rappel-Pressner of Burlington, Ontario, Canada; brother-in-law James Ige (Connie Kendall) of Shakopee, Minn; two grandchildren, niece, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
