He was Music Professor at the University of Hawaii at Hilo and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 10 am to 12 noon at Homelani Memorial Park.He is survived by 3 brothers, Melvin (Annie) Perreira of Orange, CA, Darrel "Chuck" Perreira of Honolulu, HI, and Gilmore Fivella of Hilo, HI; sister, Terrie (Douglas) Carvalho of Puna, HI; nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
