Dr. Mary Jane Dykstra Havlicek, 79 departed this life peacefully on May 28, 2021, holding the hand of her beloved husband Dr. Stephen Charles Havlicek. Mary died of natural causes at home, surrounded by her family. Fittingly, ther Read Obituary
I worked with Mary from ~1998-2009 in Dallas at Air Liquide, and can only say she made me smarter and wiser working with her, laughing as well at her ever-present sense of humor. I know I speak for myself and many past and present at AL who miss her to this day, and know she was certainly one of a kind, and probably a better chemist than all of us !!
I'm glad Mary got to return to living in Hawaii, a place I know she loved, and that her beloved Kings won TWO Stanley Cups; I received some late night excited emails during those championship runs!
My thoughts are with Steve and all of the Havlicek family at this time.
