Passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Pohai Malama. She was born in Honolulu, HI on July 31, 1943. She was a warehouse supervisor for IGE Supermarket in Haleiwa, HI. She was a member of the Hawaii Civic Club. A visitation will take place on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at the Liliuokalani Protestant Church; a Celebration of Life will take place at 10:30 am. Family requests casual attire. She is survived by spouse, Ronald Souza of Waialua, HI; 3 daughters, Marlene (James) Abrigo of Wahiawa, HI, Maylene (Richard) Kamakea of Waialua, HI, and Melanie (George) Hatchie of Haleiwa, HI; 2 sons, Russel (Karen) Souza of Kapolei, HI and Ryan (Christina) Souza of Hawaii Kai, HI; 6 brothers, Julian (Bernice) Aki of Kahului, Maui, Kalani (Suzanne) Aki of Glenwood, HI, Harvey (Vicky) Aki of Pearl City, HI, Hilton (Adriana) Aki of Roseburg, OR, Hunter (Lynne) Aki of Corona, CA, and Harmon (Raene) Aki of Glenwood, HI; 2 sisters, Lani Schreiber of Makakilo, HI and Luana (Bob) Peterson of San Diego, CA; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
