Sept 4, 2022 Michael went home to the Lord. Michael was born on July 1, 1981 in Yakima, Washington to Michael D May and Nancy K Nightingale-May.
Michael attended school in Walla Walla Washington and had recently completed his degree program through PCC.
Michael was a free spirit, and a talented musician, free hand and tattoo artist. His dream was to live in Hawaii, and he made that move in 2018. He met and married his wife Keiko there and in 2021, they purchased land on the big Island and were in the process of establishing their home there.
Michael is survived by his wife, Keiko of Hilo, HI, his sister Nicolette M Hoover and his mother, Nancy K. (Nightingale-May) Kurts, both of Caldwell, Idaho.
A celebration of life is planned for October 23, in Walla Walla, Washington and a memorial service in Honolulu, Hawaii the weekend of October 8, 2022 at Kapiolani Park on Waikiki.
Michael was deeply loved by his family and his many friends. He will be sorely missed.
