Mitsuyo Nakano, 100, of Hilo, HI, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in a private care home. She was born in Hilo, HI on June 19, 1916. She was a retired housekeeper at Naniloa Hotel and a member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin. Services were held. Family requests no koden and no flowers. She is survived by 2 daugthers, Sally (Michitoshi) Murakami of Kailua-Kona, HI and Sandra Yoshioka of Fresno, CA; son, Rodney (Loretta) Nakano of Hilo, HI; 2 sister-in-laws, Yoshiko Morinaga of Hilo, HI and Akiko Morinaga of Honolulu, HI; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
