Moses "Mo" "Slo Mo"'s Obituary
Moses “Mo” “Slo Mo” (CB Handle) Kauliakamoa Keli'iho'omanawanui, 52, of Hilo
passed away at home. He grew up in Hilo, but also spent time with his uncle John
Moa in Pearly City, Oahu and older brother in Anahola, Kauai. From a young
age, Mo easily made friends with local brothers and they experienced many
adventures together. These adventures allowed him to become an avid
fisherman, hunter, farmer, mechanic and drag racer before taking over as the sole
provider for our family home in Hilo with our Mom after our father passed away
in 1990. Even with limited formal education, Mo was a reliable and well-loved
farmhand for California Hawaii Nursery & Velda Tropicals, former Security Guard
for Centurion in Kona; a former R & G Mobile Tire Technician who single handedly
repaired/replaced tires of stranded big rigs and an Altres contractual employee
(Kulana Foods & Budget RAC).
