My friend, Nicky, as you were known growing up. Words can't describe my heartache with the news of your passing. Within the past year, you have been on my mind like God was trying to tell me something. Unfortunately, I have led myself down a dead end road as you have now left this earthly life. I have SO many memories and have shared many experiences with you that I will never forget. Some of my fondest being when we would take Dot's cigarettes and hang out by the pool all day when I spend the night almost every weekend (she never had a clue) or when we tied karate belts together to make a rope that we threw out the 2nd floor window at Yolanda and Jim's so we could sneak out of the house and stay up all night. (sorry Yolanda). I know we drifted apart and took different roads in life but I regret not attempting to stay in touch. Rest now my friend and I will see you again one day.
My deepest condolences to Harley, Keoni, Delphius and other family members.
Connie (Mattingly) Ward
