Norbert was a symbol of strength and kindness to me. He and Beatrice made me feel safe at their house in Chicago when I was a teenager. He was so kind in a quiet fatherly way to me. Thank you for being there for me! I will miss you!

Papa was not big on Halloween, but he could never refuse dressup with his grandkids!
Norbert taught me how to be a better engineer. I watched in awe at how perseverant and diligent he was in doing his stressful job. And that helped me become a better engineer.
