Pete my cross country and track coach at Iolani School from 1975 to 1979. I was very sad to hear of his passing. I had not seen him since the 1970s but hears that he had moved to the Big Island. Pete was a remarkable person and a mentor for many young people and especially me. So sorry that I never got the chance to say goodbye. God bless Pete and his family.
