Richard Kwai Mun Wong, Jr., 83, of Pahoa, HI, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Palama, Oahu. He was a retired block setter/cement finisher for Masons & Plasters Local 630 and a member of the Pahoa Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. A visitation will take place on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 1 pm to 1:30 pm at the Hawaiian Shores Community Center (15-859 Kahakai Blvd., Pahoa); a memorial service will take place at 1:30 pm. Family requests aloha attire and no flowers. He is survived by spouse, Margaret Wong of Hawaiian Beaches, HI; 4 sons, Richard Wong III of Hawaiian Beaches, HI, Paul (Miona) Wong of Salt Lake, Oahu, Jarrod (Ronda) Wong of Peoria, AZ, and Travis Wong of Hawaiian Beaches, HI; daughter, Vibiana Wong of Kapolei, Oahu; 3 brothers, Dalton “Sheriff” (Mary) Wong of Waimanalo, Oahu, Dennis “Honey Boy” Wong of Waianae, Oahu, and Clifford (Carmen) Wong of Ewa Beach, HI; 2 sisters, Glenda Kahele of Kalihi, Oahu and Marilyn Wong of Nanakuli, Oahu; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
