Sally Setsuko Murakami (Nakano), 81, of Kailua-Kona, HI passed away on August 25th at Life Care Center in Kona. Born in Hilo, she was a retired clerk of Clinical Laboratories of Hawai’i & a member of the Kona Hongwanji Kyodan, Buddhist Women’s Association & Dharma School.
Private services were held. No koden (monetary gifts).
Sally is survived by spouse, Michitoshi Murakami, of Kailua-Kona, HI; daughter, Ally Brown of Kailua-Kona, HI; son-in-law, Tim Brown of Kailua-Kona, HI; brother, Rodney Nakano of Hilo, HI; sister, Sandra Yoshioka of Fresno, CA; grandchildren Thor & Kynzie Brown of Kailua-Kona, HI; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews & friends.
