Celebrating the Life of Our Beloved Serina Marie Naboa
"You Fight We Fight"
Our hearts are heavy as we share the passing of our cherished Serina Marie Naboa, who left us on March 14th, 2025 at the Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born on May 2nd, 1980 in Hilo, Hawaii, Serina was the embodiment of love, strength, and unwavering support.
To us, Serina was more than a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend; she was the heart of our ohana. Her fearless spirit and her favorite motto, "You Fight We Fight", carried us through life's challenges, reminding us that together we are stronger.
Serina's world revolved around her family. She shared a beautiful life with her loving husband, Arnel Naboa of Keaau, HI. Together, they raised eight wonderful children who were the light of her life: sons Kaleb, Peyton, Ayden and Kingston, and daughters Shania (with spouse Anthony Carlos) Rapoza, Paige, Hailey, and Mackenzie, all of Keaau, HI.
Her kindness, supportiveness, determination, empathy, and responsibility touched everyone who knew her. Serina had a passion for 🎵 Music, 🍳 Baking , 🏕️ Outdoor Activities, 🌍 Travel, and 🎲 Games—simple joys that brought our family closer and filled our home with laughter and warmth.
Serina was deeply connected to her roots in Hilo. She was the beloved daughter of Joseph Riveira Sr. of Hilo. As a sister, she shared unbreakable bonds with her brothers Joseph Riveira Jr., Delfin Riveira of Oahu, David Lee King Jr., and sisters Jorina (with spouse Glen Lefiti Jr.) of Hilo, Aida Naboa of Hilo,Kiana King of Hilo, and Joelene Riveira of Oahu.
We will forever cherish the memories of her radiant smile, her generous heart, and the way she made each of us feel loved and valued. Serina taught us that family is everything, and her legacy of love will continue to guide us.
As we navigate this profound loss, we find comfort in knowing that her fearless spirit lives on in all of us. We love you, Serina, and we will carry you in our hearts always.
