Sinclair Halemano Kahakai's Obituary
Sinclair Halemano Kahakai Jr., a.k.a. “Bo”, was born on February 11, 1966 and went home on October 27, 2021. He was the eldest son of eleven born to Mr. Sinclair Kahakai and Mrs. Virginia Kahakai, originally of Honolulu, HI. Sinclair was a six year resident of Hawaii Island Home For Recovery (HIHR) and due to heart complications, he passed away at the young age of 55 at Hilo Medical Center. Being the eldest of eleven, Sinclair had five sisters and five brothers: Sister, Carol (JR.) Lewi of Pahoa, HI; brother, Stac (Nise) Kahakai of Anchorage, AK; brother, Zack Kahakai of Arizona; sister, Jean (RoRo) Amaral of Pepeekeo, HI; brother, Bubs (Dorisa) Kahakai of Anchorage, AK; brother, Sev (Andrea) Kahakai of Anchorage, AK; sister, Lani (Ioane) Garmon of Anchorage, AK; sister, Mynah (Eva) Kahakai of Anchorage, AK; sister, Ty (Koa) Kahakai of Anchorage, AK; and sister, Bula (Kony) Kaili of Anchorage, AK. Four sons and a daughter: son, Dustin Wallace of Oahu; Cherise Anakalea of Anchorage, AK; son, Triton Kahakai of Anchorage, AK; son Kaipo Anakalea-Kahakai of Spokane, WA; and son, Hoku Anakalea-Kahakai of Hilo.
Sinclair is one of the richest boring guys that I have ever known. He lived his life, he lived his legacy. His walk in life was more than legendary. I could express him with just one word, it would have to be “knucklehead”. Thank you Jesus for everything we shared as family.
