Thomas William Farmer's Obituary
On January 15, 2023, Thomas William Farmer, passed away in Pahoa, Hawaii. He was 65 years old. He was the son of Thomas Willam Farmer and Peggy Farmer, born in North Shields in 1958.
He proudly served in the Royal Air Force. He worked for British Aerospace in Saudi Arabia, Aeromaritime in Mesa, AZ, ran his own tile business, and worked for the Arizona Department of Public Safety in Phoenix Arizona.
He is survived by his family; wife, Christine Farmer of Pahoa, sons, Alex Farmer and Jonathan Farmer of Wales, sisters, Margaret Tuffrey and Lorraine Elgie of North Shields, two nieces and a nephew, step-son, step-daughter and 3 grandchildren.
Tom fought a tough battle against cancer. He fought with quiet dignity, never complaining and retaining his sense of fun and wit. He always had a story to tell and kept his characteristic smile throughout. Tom and Christine are extremely grateful for the great kindness and medical skill his doctors and carers have shown, both in Phoenix and Hawaii.
Tom’s friends from across the globe will be invited to an online memorial service on a date to be announced.
