Tsuyuko Tanaka
Born on September 3, 1929. Passed away on March 26, 2026. At the age of 96.
Tsuyuko was the head cook at "Tex Drive Inn" Honokaa for 30 plus years. She was a member of the Honokaa Hongwanji Mission and The Women's Buddhist Association.
She is survived by her son: Owen(Donna) Tanaka, daughter Corinne Clayton(Rich Williams).She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren: Shane(Tia) and Amber Clayton, Kira Lee and Kai Tanaka. As well as 3 great grandchildren: Rylan Scott, and Mark and Maya Clayton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tsuyuko will be remembered for being a great cook, she loved cooking elaborate meals for her family and friends. Her generosity and kindness knew no bounds. She will be missed by so many. Private services to be held at The Honokaa Hongwanji Mission.
