Wallace "Wayne" Howard's Obituary
Wallace “Wayne” Howard, 89, of Hilo, died on November 30, 2024 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Gunter, Texas, he was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was the Production Manager for Love’s Bakery in Honolulu and the owner of Ono Cones of Hawaii in Pearl City. Private services and the scattering of ashes will be onboard “My Sunshine” catamaran fronting Honolulu Elks Lodge #616 in Waikiki on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Survived by his wife, Coleen Nishimoto Howard; son, Larry (Betsy) Howard of Colorado; son, Ronald Howard of Texas; stepdaughter, Kimberly Maglinti of Hilo; stepson, Samuel “Ulu” Kamelamela, Jr. of Kapolei; and six grandchildren.
