Tisha Saragosa is a very conscientious & caring member of the Homelani Mortuary team. The passing of our beloved Mother was very hard on our family, but she made this trying time for us easier to deal with everything else. In the back of my brain, I’ve been worried about funeral expenses for the future because there were so many close calls in my life. When I met Loke, she finally gave me peace of mind by setting up a funeral plan if something happened to my spouse, other kin, or myself. I can relax now with this plan in place. “I need to take the time to thank Porsha and Homelani Memorial Park and Crematory. Recently my aunt passed away. Porsha was amazing in every way. Having a loved one pass away is very difficult but Porsha made everything easy and understandable. She was very patient and quick to respond to any questions. “Sudden, unexpected deaths happen all the time. My wife and I experienced that with both our fathers. Having a funeral plan in place won’t take away from the pain of losing a loved one, but it will definitely help guide the next steps that have to take place. Loke helped us to set up a plan that will insure our wishes be carried out when it’s our time. As frequent travelers, the plan also insures that we will return to Hilo. We also have the comfort of knowing our keiki will not be stuck with an unexpected bill. It was a pleasure working with Loke. We will recommend her to our keiki and all our ohana and friends.”

“Homelani will always have a special place in my heart with my younger brother being buried there at 2 years old in 1994 amongst a handful of other Pacheco family members. The area is always clean when I visit his grave. Recently, my Grandma Rose Pacheco wished to finalize her plans. Loke assisted us with the paperwork and even went above and beyond to meet up with Grandma and I in the hospital. She was professional, respectful and empathetic in our ohana’s time of need. Handling my Grandma’s passing was difficult, but Loke and Homelani made the process of carrying out her burial plan seamless. I was compelled to purchase a plan for myself, so my loved ones can be afforded the same ease when my time comes. Loke handled my requests efficiently and it did not take much time at all. The payment plan is very doable. I feel reassured knowing that everything is in place in the event of my passing. Much mahalos Loke and Homelani!”
