Ernest (Ernie) John Williamson Jr. passed away peacefully at Hilo Medical Center on December 19th, 2021 at the age of 78 years. Ernie was born at Stanford University Hospital in the city of San Francisco, California on September 24th, 1943 to Ernest John Williamson and Alice Louise Williamson. Ernie is predeceased by his loving wife Annie Williamson of over 35 years. Ernie enjoyed reading, cooking and baking, and spending time with close friends and family. Ernie served in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam war. Ernie is survived by his nephew and grand-nephew. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
