To Mrs. Bea Bee, there was always a smile on your face. You loved your 'ohana and that is the basis of my memories of you : ) My first memory was as a child in Chicago on 4th of July. Playing by the RR tracks, eating fried chicken with all and watching the fireworks. Too bad we didn't jump on that train as an adult and visit in Chicago again. It was good to see you and 'ohana in Berkeley, at Dana's. We were happy for you and Norbert to move to Big Island with your 'ohana. Could always "feel you" just across the channels, happy and busy! in honor of Beatrice.

I so appreciate Beatrice and her contribution to my life. She is still a role model for me as an adult. Dana's house in Chicago was always a safe place when I was a teenager. Beatrice's kindness and understanding was clear always clear. Thinking about her always reminds me what it means to be a good person.

Throughout Cousin Bea's life, she exemplified kindness and generosity. Even from a young age, I witnessed her caring for people so compassionately. She was truly selfless, always prioritizing the comfort and happiness of others before her own. It's rare to meet someone who thought of others as constantly as Cousin Bea did.

I’ll always cherish the memories of us sitting down for a competitive game of Rummy. Those games were never just about the cards, they were about the laughter, the fun, and the loving bond.

One of the most beautiful connections I've witnessed, however, was the one she shared with my grandmother. Their family bond was truly special, filled with mutual devotion and love, and it was a gift to see how much they meant to each other.

Cousin Bea's memory will continue to be a comfort to everyone lucky enough to know her. She will be profoundly missed.
