George “Big George” James Keli’ikuli, 76, of Hilo, HI, formerly of Kaneohe, HI, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at his residence. He was born on Kahua Ranch, Kohala, HI on June 30, 1938. He was a retired ironworker for Mutual Welding and a member of the Ironworkers Union – Local 625. Services will be held at a later date on Oahu. He is survived by spouse, Susann Keli’ikuli of Kanohe, HI; 3 daugthers, Lisa (Moana) Heimuli of Kahalu’u, HI, Cindy (Henry) Keli’ikuli-Grace of Kaneohe, HI, and Keokilani Keli’ikuli-Teixeira of Kurtistown, HI; son, Roy (Christina) Taylor of Mountain View, HI; 2 sisters, Shirley Shin of Keaau, HI and Delilah (Gavin) Keli’ikuli-Kaimana of Kawaihae, HI; brother, Archie Keli’ikuli of Kawaihae, HI; 4 sister-in-laws, Edna Keli’ikuli of Pearl City, HI, Gladys Keli’ikuli of Laie, HI, Grace Keli’ikuli of Makaha, HI, and Joyce Carvalho of Kapaa, Kauai; 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
