Lito joined the Advisory Committee to the Hawaii County Office on Aging a few years ago. Because of his background in geriatrics, his service as a program planner for the HCOA and then as the Executive on Aging in Kauai, he was the most knowledgable member of our Committee. We all learned so much from him, since he remembered the successes and failures of the past and the lessons from both Counties. He was humble and soft-spoken, while being authoritative and outspoken - those are hard qualities to combine! His shoes will be impossible to fill. Our hearts are filled with aloha for Lito and his family.
