Melody Parker's Obituary
Melody Parker, 65, of Hilo, HI, passed away on January 6th, 2022 at the Hilo Medical Center. Melody was born on February 1st, 1956 in Los Angeles, California. After graduating high school, she moved to Hilo to attend the University of Hawaii at Hilo to receive a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. She continued her education at Richardsons Law school at the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she received her Juris Doctor. After graduation, she worked as law clerk for Judge Kimura. She then worked as a Deputy Public Defender for the state of Hawaii for twenty nine years. She then worked as an attorney for Corporation Council for three years. After her time at cooperation council she became owner of Melody Parker Law LLC for four years. She devoted her life to helping others with upholding the law. She was a members of the Hawaii Bar Association. Melodys infectious spirit encouraged, inspired and motivated her family and friends through various seasons of life. She was a lover of traveling with her family, experiencing great food and spirits, listening to live music, and the University of Hawaii Rainbow football team.
She is survived by husband, Paul Bello of Hilo, HI; children Sky (Binil) Chacko of Maumee, OH, Austin (Janelle Sajor) Bello of Hilo, HI; mother, Patrica Parker of Temecula, CA; Father, Jim Parker of San Diego, CA; brother, Mark (Joel Craddock) Parker of San Diego, CA; sister, Lisa Metz of Oregon. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
